I specialize in attitude and behavior change at the individual and team level.
With 15 years of experience as a coach and consultant, I work in all sectors including commercial, government and non-profit; across many industries. I have held executive roles in large companies and managed her own private practice. I also am a widely published thought leader on the impact of culture on leadership, and author of “Field Tested: Recruiting, Managing & Retaining Veterans” (AMACOM 2012).
When coaching individuals and teams, I value the use of assessments in setting evidence-based goals and aspirations with clients. I have a successful track record with high-performing and blocked clients/teams, meeting them wherever they are and charting a pragmatic course for growth. What is my typical process for working with a new client?
I begin with an initial call to get to know each other and learn about your goals and challenges; and to agree upon a schedule of meetings. When possible, I like to start with some data, either from a performance or personality assessment―something to give us a place to start.
What education, training and/or credentials do I have that relates to coaching?
I hold a Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University. I have a certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University and am credentialed by the International Coaching Federation at the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) level.
