I launched Oliva Career Consulting, LLC in 2014 and have worked with clients from all backgrounds and professional levels. My goal is to help clients elevate their résumé from one which describes job function, to a branded document which showcases value and impact.

What is my typical process for working with a new client?
Initial consultations are a great way to see if you could benefit from résumé writing or career advising services. Initial consultations are complimentary and scheduled for no more than 30 minutes. During our introductory call, we will talk about your plans and goals.
After the initial consultation, I will draft a project proposal specifying scope of services and project fee. If you decide to use my services, I will keep you updated on the project throughout the process. Each project is a collaboration. Whether it is a résumé update, practice interview or job search discussion, we will work together to meet established goals.
What education, training and/or credentials do I have that relates to coaching?
I am an established career services professional who spent over 20 years in higher education with focus areas in career advising and program management. To stay current in best practices, I regularly engage in training and industry research. I am a member of the Professional Association of Résumé Writers & Career Coaches (PARW/CC) and I have earned my credential as a Certified Professional Résumé Writer. I'm also certified to administer the Strong Interest Inventory® career assessment.
What types of clients have I worked with?
I am a career generalist who enjoys working with all types of clients. I love working with students and new professionals as well as managers and executives. My comfort level and expertise extend from entry level to CEO!
